I studied Law at the University of Liverpool and had an amazing 3 years there! I then took a year out and worked for Northamptonshire Police, Northamptonshire CPS and a Northampton Criminal firm before I went round the world for 6 months. I then attended Nottingham Law School for the LPC before starting my training contract at EMW. So far I have really enjoyed my training contract and am looking forward to challenges that await me in the coming months.
Outside of the office I am a massive Northampton Saints fan and have a season ticket there so go regularly. I also try to see a few away games and have been to Manchester so far this season and will be going to Bath soon. I also enjoy skiing when I get the chance. But then also enjoy a good session of sunbathing so any holiday is good for me!

I studied Management with Business Law at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, following which I undertook an LLM in International and Comparative Law at Notre Dame Law School. I then completed my GDL and LPC at Nottingham Law School. I did my LPC on a part time basis while working as a paralegal in the Corporate Asset Recovery division at HBJ Gateley Wareing.
Prior to commencing my training contract, I spent seven months travelling around Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and China. This was an absolutely amazing experience and has made me more culturally aware.
So far, I am really enjoying my training contract at EMW and certainly enjoy the contentious aspect of litigation. I am looking forward to my next seat and to the continual progression of my legal skills.
Outside of the office, I am a keen sailor and sail mainly high performance racing boats. I acquired my sailing instructor's qualification when I was 18 and this has provided me with the opportunity to teach sailing all over the world, which has been great, especially during the university summer holidays. I also enjoy scuba diving and during my travels, I got the opportunity to dive in Australia and in Fiji, which was incredible.
