I completed my LL.B and LPC at Staffordshire University before moving back to Corby in 2003. On my return, I joined the National Accident Helpline (NAH) as a legal advisor. Through my connections at NAH, I then joined Tollers as PA to the Head of the PI Dept before persuading them that they should let me loose with my own caseload! I have worked as a Legal Manager in PI for the last 2 years and I am deputy Team Leader of our Specialist RTA teams. I am now registered as a member of ILEX and have high hopes of becoming a fully fledged FILEX in the next year or two!

Outside of work, I enjoy socialising, reading and watching films. Unfortunately, I am not very sporty at all and prefer to watch it from the comfort of my sofa!!

I studied European, International and Comparative Law at the University of Sheffield for which I obtained a 2:1. This degree also meant that I spent a semester of my final year studying in New Zealand at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch. Not having a clue what to do next I enrolled to do my LPC at the College of Law and managed to obtain a Commendation. It then dawned on me that possibly I may just be good at this legal business so found a job working for Shoosmiths in Debt Recovery to obtain some legal experience before being offered a Training Contract with Tollers to start in September 2008. I am currently working as Legal Manager in the Personal Injury department with Tollers until my Training Contract starts. If you've had any accidents at work or on the road in the last 3 years give me a call!

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym (it's my second home!), horse riding, seeing friends, going to the cinema, reading and relaxing at home. I'm also currently working on achieving my ambition - to have a leading role in Hollyoaks!
