I am a Trainee Solicitor at D W Solicitors in Northampton. I qualify on 15th January 2010 and cannot wait. D W Solicitors are a high street practice on the Wellingborough Road in Northampton. As we are fairly small I am not in one particular seat and therefore my work varies on a day to day basis.
I did the LLB degree and then went on to do my LPC, which I really enjoyed. I come from Northamptonshire and now work in Northampton. I am happiest with friends and family nearby.
I am a very organised person and like to organise others so I am well suited for this role. I enjoy socialising, shopping and anything fun! I also enjoy karate and my ambition is to be a black belt.

I began working at DFA Law LLP in Northampton, as an Office Junior back in 2004 when I left school. After two years of photocopying, franking mail, and other boring but very important duties, I decided to leave and got a job as an Assistant Case Handler within the Repossessions Department at Shoosmiths. After surviving 3 months there, I began to get "homesick" and wanted to go back to DFA! A month or so later I was lucky enough to secure a position working as a Secretary for the Employment Law Specialist...yes, back at DFA Law!
All that was almost two years ago now and I am still enjoying it here, I am working as an Administrator, supporting the Employment Specialist as well as two Partners in the Corporate & Commercial Team based at the new offices on Waterside Way in Northampton. I decided that I wanted to gain a better knowledge of the law, so I have taken it upon myself to work towards an ILEX Level 2 Paralegal Qualification, in my own time. I am due to complete this in February 2009.
My next move is to embark on the ILEX Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law & Practice and my ultimate goal is to eventually become a FILEX in the Media and Entertainment Sector.
Believe it or not, I do have time to lead a pretty active life beyond working and studying...I enjoy a hard work out at the gym, I also have a passion for dancing and of course partying!
After my studies (and once I have saved up) my dream is to travel, after all...there's a whole world out there and I want to see it!
