I am a trainee working for Shoosmiths Solicitors based from the Milton Keynes Office. My first seat was in finance litigation, I'm currently sitting in commercial property and will soon be sent on a secondment. I am currently the treasurer of the NBYL keeping a close eye on our project budgets and an even tighter grip on the purse strings of our account. Although the committee have some great ideas, it's my role to determine whether they are financial viable and whether the costs justify the benefit.
I'm a keen traveller and have visited places around China, Europe, the USA and Canada. My most dangerous encounter whilst travelling was when I got chased by a black bear in Whistler (British Columbia). The bear was 8ft tall, had sharp claws and a taste for chinese. I guess I shouldn't have screamed loudly and thrown a stick at it's head! I still have nightmares!
